Church Camp (4th -12th grade) |
Children's classes meet in the Education Building, most easily accessed from the
courtyard by the back parking lot entrance.
Preschool (3-5 Years) - Room 110
Early Elementary (Kinder - 1st Grade) - Room 203
Middle Elementary (2nd - 4th grade) - Room 202
* Childcare is provided for infants through 3 years in Rooms 102 and 104.
Our nursery staff is trained in 1st aid and CPR. Pagers are available. Promotion
to Pre-school-aged Sunday School classes is at the discretion of parents.

Children's classes are based on Bible Study lessons from
the Old and New Testaments. We use the Rock Solid
Curriculum which promotes fun while it reinforces the
faith learning told in the Bible story, provides age
appropriate activities and also provides a take-home
activity. Children learn how their lessons apply to their lives.
Within the hour, children have opportunities for interaction, crafts, even snack time.
Young children are given time for independent play; our young elementary children
manage small responsibilities and our middle elementary engage in thoughtful dialog
and action.
Children's Church - during 10:50 worship hour
Children are invited to take part of our 10:50 Worship Hour during which Pastor
Marilyn Meeker-Williams gathers children to share a lesson with them.
Following the Children’s Message, the children (3 years – 3rd grade) are excused
to join our Children’s Minister and other adults in youth in story time and crafts.
The lesson plans loosely follow the lectionary text, so that children and parents
will often hear from the same text.
Children are returned to the sanctuary to share communion with their families.
On Sundays when communion is not served, parents can retrieve their children
from Room 203 of the main building.
Childcare services during Worship Service are available for infants up to Pre-K.
Pagers are available.
Children of all ages are also welcome to remain in the Sanctuary with their
parents. Parents can determine which situation works best for their family.
